BIOGRAPHY
Anthony Salamon is an entertainment producer and investment executive who works where creative projects meet private capital.
He is the founder of The Idea Company, a launch platform for entertainment and technology ventures. He also sits on the investment committee of an Australian single family office, where his focus is governance and portfolio strategy. Much of his current work involves helping private investors and family offices approach entertainment as a professionally structured alternative-asset category, with the underwriting standards, downside protection and reporting discipline they would expect of any other allocation.
Born in Sydney and raised in Los Angeles, Anthony trained at the New York Film Academy and the Los Angeles Film School and began his career at Commotion Pictures. He produced his first feature, Birth of a Warrior, in 2012, and was mentored by industry titans Menachem Golan and Gilbert Adler. His work since has crossed film, television, documentary and theatre: the award-winning Never Forget: A March of the Living Story, now screened in Holocaust museums worldwide; the Rooftop Live concert series with artists including Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne; Access All Areas: Erebus Motorsport; the musical Indigo, which ran in the UK in the summer of 2025; and The King's Critique, Off-Broadway. He was previously Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer of Picture Business International and Studio+, and founder of Dilithium Capital, a private equity and venture capital consultancy. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America and is represented by WME and UTA.
Today he takes on fewer projects directly, working at executive producer level except where a project is one he cares about enough to run himself. That shift has given him more room for two things: capital work, and writing. He publishes on entertainment finance, family office investing, the future of creative capital and much more at anthonysalamon.com.
Anthony serves on the advisory board of WeGo.One and Staez Performance Hats. He is also active in his family's philanthropy efforts in both Australia and the United States.
Australian by birth, he lives and works in Orlando, Florida.
